discography
"Sailor Kiss the Siren", Eric's first solo release, is an eclectic mix of 11 original songs which explore texture and dynamics, all deeply rooted in places and relationships. Along with the images of the sea and a journey, the title hints at being inextricably drawn to that which may cause us pain--headlong into the shipwreck--and rescue doesn't necessitate closure: just dealing with life on life's terms, things as they are.
Comparisons are always dubious, but you might hear a bit of The Beatles, Alex Chilton/Chris Bell, The Church, Nick Drake, and Mark Kozelek--some Celtic influences, or whatever you want to hear; yet each song reflects Eric's individual style.
Eric has also played on the following records
Viva Caramel: "Viva Caramel" (2003, Viva Recording)Gem: "Sunglare Serenades" (2001, Pitch-a-Tent Records)
Mitch: "Split the Difference" (1996, Beluga Records)
